in 1991, getting into all sorts of trouble in High School, music was
my favourite subject. I'd sit at home and record tapes of me trying
to be a dj. One day our music teacher got us to bring in our
favourite tapes.
So me beeing me, grabbed my tape and hit the door for school. One
day it was my turn to play my tape
in music class. It was
a hit! I had everyone grooving to the beats of Jive Bunny... then it
happened... my voice came on saying
"Wow boys and girls, welcome back to kids fm with your dj mr
cool. Now our next song is BROSS WHEN WILL I BE FAMOUS" and that’s
where it all began.
In 1992 I left school and my music
teacher was there to help me get into the work force. He rang a dj
company and got me a job as a dj. My very 1st gig was my
very own school disco at which i was named DJ Madness. From
that day on I DJ'd full time at party’s until in 1994 when I got a
residency at the infamous Bourbon and Beef. That was one of the
highlights of my life. Not long after I DJ'd for Sydney Side Cruises
until finally starting my own DJ company with several major gigs
DJing overseas for Club Med in Malaysia. It was here that my current
DJ name, DJ Casper, was coined with thanks to the locals who were
mesmerised by my pale, white skin.
