This
talented and extraordinary DJ has an extensive history of music
and entertainment, starting from a very early age as a trained
classical musician. His technical ability to DJ came as a
natural progression from years of study in England in the 1990's
(A-Level Music, ABRSM Grade 8 Brass). He picked up DJing as a
hobby in 1999 and his professional career shot upwards from
there very quickly.
Matt became a full-time DJ in 2002, and held residencies at some
of the biggest and most respected commercial bars and clubs in
England, soon progressing on to working exclusively for a
premier league bar chain called the Walkabout Inns, playing to
crowds of up to 3000!
After emigrating to Australia in 2008, Matt was soon asked to
join the fantastic team at Absolute Infinity, travelling the
country and entertaining crowds along the East coast and Sydney.
Along the years Matt has moved with the times and also
technology and now offers one of the best Video DJ sets in
Australia! Using his skills of Turntablism and Scratching with
music/remix videos, along with the very latest and best
equipment, Matt adopted the title of "iMatt" as a very
appropriate DJ name!

iMatt is able to rise to the challenge to entertain any crowd with his vast knowledge of new, old, commercial and underground music, plus his immense collection of rare and collectable music videos. He is one of the most versatile DJs on the books! He has a passion for "urban" styles of music, adding his turntablism and scratching skills for a fantastically uplifting set! He can also rock the house with the some of the best and most exciting Electro, House and Chart music today!

of just Disco, pure Motown or themed nights, up to a broad
spectrum of the best Retro music, Hip Hop/R&B or Top 40 - the
list goes on! iMatt is also not only quite happy to pick up the

but he can also offer one of the best and funniest student-style
stage games nights around!
