Over
the past 5 years DJ Sean Blaze has been
carving up a name for himself as one of
Sydney's newest, up and coming House/Electro
Acts in the dance music industry, rocking
dance floors both nationally and
internationally alike. In 2006 Sean was
approached by the creators of "The Audio
Thieves" (ISpy Records) to be one of the
front men for this ARIA charting group with
hit singles such as "Is This Love?", "Pray
Like Aretha Franklin", "Solid Rock", and
"Kirie Laison". From this followed a series
of gigs throughout Australia and a European
Tour in 2009 supporting the likes of Erick
Morillo, Martin Solveig, and Bob Sinclar.
Sean Blaze started in the entertainment
industry as a hip hop dancer/choreographer,
touring with the likes of Destiny's Child,
Montell Jordan, James Brown, 112, and Craig
David along with many local acts. In 2001
Sean bought his first decks and commenced
djing, specialising in Hip Hop and R & B.
After witnessing the creativity and
showmanship of some of Australia's finest
dance dj's, Sean was inspired and made the
transition to playing House/Electro.
Sean Blaze has since played at many clubs
throughout Sydney including The
Establishment, Tank Nightclub, The Roxy
Hotel, The World Bar, Equilibrium Hotel, The
Eastern, Rogues Nightclub, QBH (Melbourne)
as well as Q Bar (Melbourne & Sydney), The
Bedroom (Gold Coast), Cavo Paridiso
(Mykonos), and Enigma (Santorini).
Sean Blaze holds the Saturday night
residency at 36 Degree Bar at Star City,
mixing up classic house club anthems with
slammin' electro tracks.
