CLUB BIO DJ Naiki's fast paced turntable persona has led him to DJ at many high profile shows supporting the likes of Black Eyed Peas, Nivea, Fatman Scoop & The Crooklyn Clan along with a host of others. Naiki is renowned for his track selection which fuses rap, r&b, reggae, reggaeton, soul, funk and crunk music into his club sets. This has led him to residencies such as Mobo @ Home Nightclub, Soultrain @ Hunter Bar , Fat @ Gas Nightclub in Sydney. Mona Vale hotel, and The Ranch. He also has residencies at Quest in the Gold Coast and Fannys in Newcastle as well as performing all over the country on a regular basis. Naiki's incredible record collection has made him a clubbers favourite as he continues to push the boundaries and break new records in the club scene throughout Australia. HIP HOP BIO Always supporting the Japanese community and feeling the need for a Japanese Hip Hop party in Sydney, Naiki teamed up with Ackshun Entertainment and collectively started Oiishi, a monthly hip hop event held since June 1999. Through this Naiki has become an integral part of the bboy scene from making choreographed music sets for Sydney's Dancekool School to DJing at the national Battle Of The Year break dancing competitions ,Rock steady crew @ enmore, and B-Boy battle Championship @ Metro featuring Ice-T and Ken swift from rock steady crew. Naiki has also supported international acts such as Ugly Duckling, DJ Jazzy Jeff, People Under The Stairs, DJ Cash Money, Mystro, The World Famous Beat Junkies and Gangstarr who he performed alongside DJ Nino Brown and Samrai as The Chiefrockers of which he is a member of. As Naikis profile continues to grow he has recently decided to step behind the boards and start producing music. Future projects include a mix cd to be released through Universal Music and working and developing artists from here and Japan. |
