Victor Lopez

Victor first started mixing soon after attending early under 18's dance parties in 1997. Inspired by what he saw and heard, Victor quickly picked up his first pair of turntables in 1998. His early influences came from local Sydney dance parties, by watching such DJs as Peewee Ferris, Nick Skitz, Hooley G, DJ Moto and Robert Brizzi. Over the next few years he spent much of his time learning the art of mixing, phrasing, and programming. At just 21 years of age Victor Lopez has risen to great heights of Australia's dance & urban/rnb scene. Best known to listeners of the dance based station WILD FM in Sydney.

In less than a year, Sydney Dj/Producer Victor Lopez has reached the heights of DJ status securing National club residencies, interstate and overseas, as well as having recently signed to Australia's leading Dance record label, Central Station Records. Victor began his career in July 1999 and has being part of a number of special events such as the WildFM 2000 dance party which 3000 party goers attended and also C2000 (New Years Eve) in Argentina which also had a massive turn out of 13 000. In such a short period of time Victor has headlined alongside some of the worlds best including Dj Sasha, Dj Dero, Deep Dish, Olav Basoski and Australia's very own Nick Skitz, Mark Dynamix, Moto, Nino Brown and Peewee Ferris. Although most of his achievements have come in through the dance scene, Victor has managed to move into a completely different scene (Urban/Rnb) and has used it to his advantage to make him one of sydney's most versatile Djs.

Victor is a well known youngster in the industry and has only his peers to thank such as Rob Brizzi, Jimmy Z and KCB, but in particularly Nicholas Agamalis (aka Nick Skitz) who has been an inspiration to Victor's success throughout the course of his career, Nick's producing abilities and professional outlook on the industry, has made Victor focused and eager to follow in his pioneers footsteps. Nick's determination and talent has made him reach to where he is today (the leader of dance music in this country) that of which he truly is a perfectionist and professional.

In over 2 and a half years Victor has appeared at over 70 clubs nationally and abroad, he has also Produced the Megamix for Australia's number 1 dance compilation which had sold over 90 000 units (Wild FM 15 - Summer 2002) with that huge achievement victor has also released 2 Rnb/Rap Albums, His own Cd Single, Remixed Tracks for the Likes of Milk Inc, Craig David, Backstreet Boys, Boys 2 Men, Samantha Mumba, Dr Dre, Selwyn and has Appeared on various Television and Radio Stations across Australia
