Brenden
Fing and Matt Nukewood, solo artists in their own right have been
crafting their talent for years individually. Realising that they
both are inspired by the one thing that the shores of Sydney lacks,
house music. In all its forms: funky, big room, tribal, stomping,
vocal and underground. People are standing up to take notice and
house music is coming back into the fray.
Featured in the Sydney leg’s of Stereosonic 09,
Future Music Festival 09, Ministry of Sounds Session Tour 09,
Ministry of Sounds Housexy 2009, Global Gathering 08, Freedom
Festival 08, Ozfest 08 & 09 and creating a branded "Ping Pong" party
that has played host to international acts such as Stupid Fresh, Out
of Office, Nick Supply, Splitloop, Supermal, Bingo players, Prok and
Fitch and Kid Kenobi. Securing residencies in Canberra, North
Queensland, Brisbane, Gold Coast, Tasmania and local heroes in
Sydney, Nukewood and Fing solidify that for too long has house music
sat in the background whilst electro has created monsters, The Ping
Pong DJ’s are here to save the day.
This knowledge and genuine love for house music has
paid off for the pair with supports that combined would rival a
dream festival line up: Steve Angello, Laidback Luke, Sebastien
Leger, Chris Lake, Sidney Samson, Axwell, John Dahlback, The
Crookers, The Bloody Beetroots, Fedde Le Grande, Klaas, Tom Novy,
Ferry Corsten, Felix Da Housecat, Roger Sanchez, Erick Morillo,
Tocadisco, David Guetta, Stupid Fresh, Nick Supply, Bodyrox,
Deadmau5, Basement Jaxx, The Chemical Brothers, Kaskade and Sven
Vath. Ping Pong sets contain a massive amount of energy and flow
that even the most critical of punters would nod their heads to.
If you are after a bass line that moves your whole
body, or a rhythm that defies logic, or if you are just out to enjoy
yourself, come looking for The Ping Pong DJ’s. They’ll take you
where you need to go. |
