One
of the biggest names in the Australian Dance
scene, known both for his skills on the decks as
much for his uncanny ability to get any room
jumping. Rob Brizzi came on the scene as a Dj back in the early 90's. Like
most world renowned Djs Rob started working his skills in the mobile dj
industry, of which he still does. Rob first starting DJing in a
professional capacity at the Canterbury Leagues Club, and since then there
has been no looking back. From those early humble beginnings, Rob
developed his skills to match the best in the world, not from only from a
mixing perspective, but in particular a programming aspect. In fact his
name is now synonymous with Dance Music in Australia
.
Over
the years Rob built up such a great following and reputation for his
special blend of music, that it was only a natural progression for him to
move into radio were people wanted to hear his style of music 7 days a
week. In fact the demand was so big that Wild FM employed him from day
one, and he can still be heard 5 days a week on wild nights on the Edge
96.1. Currently Rob is in such demand that he is always one of the top
DJ's playing at parties such as, Chill, Passion, Bliss, Crush, Barstardo,
Citta, Sirenz (Melb), Club Parada (Syd, Melb and Adelaide), Mansion (Gold
Coast), Discovery (Darwin), Paramount(Perth) & The Wild dance parties,
Locally in Sydney Rob holds residencies at Mollys, Club Marconi and Cave,
DNA, Level 4, Rob also hosts a show on commercial dance radio on 96.1(Week
nights and Sat nights pre-recorded),Rob has played all around Australia
and New Zealand, including Gold Coast, Port Macquarie, Airlie, Brisbane
Beach, Darwin, Canberra, Adelaide, Townsville, Perth, Melbourne and Hobart
to name a few, Rob has also recently teamed up with a vocalist and
engineer and together they have formed an awesome combination including
the release of their new single "Lover that you are" which is
featured on Wild FM 12.Rob is currently working on his sixth album, Rob is
having great success both locally and internationally with his track
Thunderstruck (Blizzard Bros) Reaching Top 30(Nationally),Top
40(Canada),Look out for the follow up single early December, a cover of
Kiss's I was made for loving you (Blizzard Bros).
The
Blizzard Bros have also just completed all the music for the upcoming Fat
Pizza movie, due in cinemas early March. Rob currently endorses product
forSpin Technologies, Syntec (Sennheiser headphones), Kinetic,1800
Reverse, Berri(G7) and Freshjive clothing. Live Rob Brizzi is a dynamic
workaholic who's kickin selection of music often leads to screams and a
mass of hands waving in the air. When asked about the dance scene and his
success, Rob points out his passion is for playing live and seeing a
'crowd go absolutely off.'
