DJ Flipside is with out a doubt one of Sydney’s hottest trance DJs with
his cutting edge sound and razor sharp skills he has a strong and
distinctive sound with a unique blend of hard trance and uplifting trance
and the odd banging hard house set that has created him a loyal
and strong following.
Playing nationally around Australia
and NSW coastline with an International appearance at New Zealand
’s “xcite” in Wellington
in 2002. Flipside has played at many of the big scale
parties including Gatecrasher Sound System 2001, Utopia, Frantic,
Transmission, Godskitchen and Two Tribes 2003.
Flipside has held residency’s at many clubs around Sydney including
Sublime @ Home in the Silver Room as well as main stage Voodoo, Plastic,
Sounds on Sunday, and both Stun on
Wednesday and Rocket on Saturday @ The Icebox he has also done exclusive
club shows for Armin Van Buuren and Paul Van Dyke at gas in Sydney as well
as headlining at national venues such as Bubble In Melbourne, Club Habbana
in Canberra, System 6 in Brisbane and deliverance of bass on the Gold
Coast . Flipside has played along side many International DJs including
Judge Jules, Yomc, Warp Brothers, Phil Reynolds, Ed Real, Lab–4, Armin
Van Buuren, Mrs Wood, K-90, Paul Glazby and Paul Van Dyk. He has also
supported Sydney
’s favourite DJ’s Nervous, BeXta, Jumping Jack and
John Ferris.
Flipside’s love for the industry shows throughout all his work, making
an appearance on Channel V: Room 208 and regularly playing on CPX 99.9 FM
and also as a promoter he has run many successful nights in Sydney.
Flipside has a following of clubbers that support him at all gigs and
reaps the rewards of hearing his outstanding uplifting sets.
2003 holds many new beginnings for Flipside. Tours
such as Two Tribes 2003, Paul Van Dyke, Slinky,
Godskitchen and Gatecrasher coming his way and a downunderground CD to be
released in October his profile and status in Sydney
will keep rising.
This coming year will see him further expand his career to become one of Australia
’s most recognised DJ’s. |
