Australian born, Sydney based DJ John Ferris, has been headlining the biggest as well as the most upfront techno underground events, clubs, parties, bush doofs and raves for over a decade. Headlining at major events including the likes of Two Tribes, BDO, Transmission, Gatecrasher, Gods Kitchen, Sounds On Sunday, Slinky, Welcome NYE and many, many, more. He has also played along side and as the main support for the worlds best Djs  Fatboy Slim, Timo Maas, Paul Van Dyke, Frankie Knuckles, Tiesto, Blutonium Boy, Lucian Foorte, Chris Liberator, Mark Spoon, Tiesto, Taucher, Peewee Ferris, The Prodigy, Underworld, Thomas Schumacher, Paul Oakenfold, Seb Fontaine and many than cant we list here.

JF has staged events such as Gatecrasher, Slinky, Godskitchen, Plastic events, ID world tours as well as the massive FUN parties in the Horden Pavilion. In Sydney recently he has played at Gatecrasher Australian tours (1998-2001), Slinky events (99-2002), Gods Kitchen (2001-02, 03, 05), Big Day Out (1996, 2001,2003, 2004), Two Tribes (2002, 2005) Welcome (2000, 2001) all 29 of the Transmission events since 1998 - 2005 as well as Ministry Of Sounds Hard NRG tours since 2003 - 2005.

John’s currently DJ main resident and owner of Plastic, 8 years young over 350 nights and still going strong. He also regularly plays across the country at Bass Station Melbourne, Platinum Gold Coast, Church Perth, Family Brisbane, as well as at various Sydney clubs such as Wanted on Thursdays and Gas on Saturdays.

2004 John released LEGALISE (#1 vinyl sales in Europe) on German label Blutonium.

March 2005 Blutonium released the track Hardstyle And Acid worldwide. Appeared on the Ministry HARD NRG ALBUM #7 and Bexta's mixology.

November 2005 the latest single 'ACID IS MY SOUND' gets worldwide release thru Blutonium with a European tour planned soon.

Since 2003 he has been the dj for the MINISTRY OF SOUNDS HARD NRG ALBUMS including 3,4,5,6 and 7 as well as the HARD NRG ANTHEMS, selling over 150,000 albums so far.

John has been in the top 50 for InTheMix Australian DJs for the last 3 years.

JF also is the music director for Collette Dinnigan fashion shows in Paris, LA and Sydney since 2003. Her new show is in Paris in March 2005 

John hosted his own radio show City Express - on 2SER FM for 10 years and he won the inaugural Dance Music Awards (Australia) outstanding Contribution To Dance Music. He was also the co founder of the Aria Club Chart in 2000.

John was A and R and label Director for Sony Music Australia Dance Division from 1993 to 2001 releasing artists Fatboy Slim, The Prodigy, Jam And Spoon, Tokyo Ghetto Pussy, Wayne G, Draxx, Peewee Ferris, Bexta, Endorphin and many many more....
