RISE ABOVE DANCE SQUAD

The Rise Above Dance Squad is made up of five freestyle dancers from Australia: Eric Devellerez, Laura New, Manuela Oliveira, Paul Agyapong and Andrew Sears. Individually, they have performed live and appeared in music videos for international hip hop and rap artistes including Black Eyed Peas, Puff Daddy, Beastie Boys, Chingy and Run DMC.

Terence Ong, Marketing Director of Pernod Ricard Malaysia, which markets Martell among other wine and spirit brands commented: With freestyle dancing starting to gain popularity in Malaysia, the Rise Above Dance Tour is a great avenue to take it to the next level as it gives consumers an opportunity to rise above when they demonstrate their dancing skills and learn from some of the top dancers.

The Rise Above Dance Tour is part of the recently launched Martell VSOP Rise Above campaign, which encourages consumers to embrace opportunities that fuel their vision, success, passion and innovation through a variety of initiatives including the Rising Personalities Awards, Soar Above Contest, Bartenders Academy and Rise Above Dance Competition.
