City2Surf 2009
- One mans triumph |
The year 2010 is a mere 14 weeks away but we
still have plenty of time to party in 2009 and
we've got even more reasons to party in October!
The awesome Rock-tober promotion will
have budding rock stars battling it out live on
stage to become Guitar Hero Champion. Amy Wong
has taken all the hard work out of planning your
parties and has listed all the reasons to party
for the next 2 months. She also introduces us to
one of our latest DJ recruits as well as one of
our veteran DJs. Rob introduces us to DJ Gemstar
who has been rocking dance floors around the
country. He also gives a detailed report on the
hottest A.C.T. festival coming up. Will gives
his insight on the brand new Pioneer CDJ-2000.

City2Surf 2009
Well it was a fresh but sensational
Sunday morning as Lauren, Can and I headed across the bridge
towards the city, eager in anticipation for the start of the
2009 City2Surf. We grabbed a park in The Rocks and began walking
up George Street. Although it was only just after 6:30am, the
Sydney city centre was buzzing with activity as thousands of
runners of all ages and sizes began to converge on Hyde Park.
