Richard Cabrita from
Cabrita Music is a
talented
percussionist. He
has been playing
percussion for 10
years & has
travelled the globe
in his search for
musical knowledge.
His Portuguese
background & culture
has fuelled his
passion for Latin
percussion. In his
travels he has had
the opportunity to
learn with many
gifted musicians
from Portugal, Spain
& Brazil.
Richard
has had studio
experience with some
of the biggest
artists in this
industry & during
one of these
sessions, played on
a recording for the
Sydney Olympics. His
main instrument is
the Congas but he
also plays Bongos,
Timbales, Djembe,
Adufe (Portuguese
Tambourine), various
Brazilian percussion
instruments &
auxiliary percussion
such as Tambourines,
Triangles, Cowbells,
Shakers and many
