Back in 1886 the
Emu Inn (better known as "The Emu")
was condemned by the Police, and as
a consequence a new look Orient
Hotel opened. In 1937, the Orient
became the Nepean, but to locals the
hotel was always "The Emu". 1998
witnessed the transformation of this
grand old hotel into a true Irish
Pub, boasting all the traditions and
authenticity of Ireland herself!
The
unmistakable personality of the
old and original bars, the pub
doors and windows, memorabilia
that dates hundred of years, even
including a fishing boat that
tackled the big ones! The Function
Rooms are available for private
parties, business and corporate
events.
