At
The Oaks we like to think that there is something here
for every one, so when you come and see us, for lunch,
dinner, or just a drink, take your time and walk
around before you decide where you’d like to relax and
enjoy the surroundings.
Since
1885 people have been meeting at The Oaks and our
famous oak tree still provides shelter to everyone who
wants to relax under its leafy boughs and enjoy the
first class hospitality.
Lunch
at The Oaks is a tradition for many people with many
ordering from the carvery for our special Roasts of
the day. Of course, you can also cook your own steak,
chicken or seafood at the Char Grill but don’t blame
the chef if you don’t get it quite right. Our fresh
salads are a joy to behold and accompany the above as
well as complementing our gourmet pizzas. All of this
can be washed down with fine wines from our well
stocked cellar.
Visit
our art-deco style Cue & Cushion Bar upstairs and
enjoy a frame or two, even make a private booking of
one of our twelve guest rooms.
Mine
host David Thomas and his son Andrew together with
manager Patrick will make you most welcome.
We’re
only a few minutes north of Sydney
Harbour Bridge with buses from the CBD stopping almost
outside our front door.
We are open to late o’clock 7 days
a week.
