The Drummoyne Rowers Club, Henley Marine Drive near the Iron Cove
Bridge (just off Victoria Road) is one of the best pubs in town featuring
one of Sydney’s finest water views. It’s Sunday sessions rival that of the
Clovelly Hotel and Coogee Beach Palace Hotel, and there is no finer rap in
the competitive Sydney Sunday Session arena. |

The
club has a restaurant called ‘Jorge’s’ and anyone with a name like
Jorge must be able to cook hot tucker. While it’s anyone’s guess if that’s
true, there is a nice view while eating. Actually, Jorge’s is consistently
rated highly by discerning food type people.
The Rowers have live bands on Sundays that attract athletic young gyrators
from the local area and surrounding ‘burbs. |
